I decided to make a Valentine's Day card to show you how the beautiful flatbacked pearl hearts can be used.
My starting point was a recently purchased sheet of 12 x 12 DP and I used the centre image in the top row.
After I cut out the image, I inked the edges to give them some definition, and mounted it onto kraft card that also had the edges inked. I coloured the image a little with my alcohol markers to increase the intensity:
For the rest of the card, I used :
off-white CS card base
blue card mat
offcut of striped brown DP
sky blue organza ribbon and bow
and
the following BLUEBERRY BEAR products:
three small pearl flatbacked hearts
three paper flowers, layered, with a large flatback pearl centre
Thanks for your lovely comment. I love meeting new SA crafters. Love your card . Happy Valentines day for tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOH SO PRETTY Jen! Love that pearl center and your image is so vintage looking! Right up my alley! Have a great day!
